“Speak Up, Speak Out” is a collaborative, movement-based film that focuses on bringing the issue of domestic violence out of the shadows while encouraging healing conversations through the transformative power of dance, music, and storytelling.
This event will include a 20-minute film depicting the issues of domestic violence through dance and movement, followed by panel discussion featuring those who were involved with creating the film.
This project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by Arts Services Inc. And by the funds from Made in Buffalo administered by Arts Services Inc.
