Lisa is a beloved wife, mom to an 8-year-old, special education teacher, and creative spirit in the Buffalo community. Since 2019, she’s been courageously battling breast cancer—facing multiple rounds of treatment, surgeries, and setbacks. In 2023, her diagnosis progressed to stage 4.

Despite the challenges, Lisa continues to fight with strength and hope. She’s now pursuing integrative treatments that improve her quality of life—but these are not covered by insurance and come with a heavy financial burden.

Now, it’s our turn to support the woman who has given so much to her students, her community, and her loved ones. We are hosting a benefit to help ease the financial strain and give Lisa the space to focus on what matters most: healing and being present for her son and family.
