All Levels Yoga

Gaitrie brings together her rich background in Indian Classical dance and expert yoga training to offer a unique, movement-based yoga class that will captivate and inspire you. Experience the seamless blend of fluid, graceful movements with mindful breathwork, creating a practice that is both meditative and dynamic. This class celebrates the beauty of functional, meditative movements, offering a fresh and awe-inspiring approach to yoga. Open to all levels, no prior experience in yoga or dance is required. Join us and discover a new appreciation for the art of movement and the tranquility of breath.

Kathak Fundamentals Dance
Wednesdays: 7-8pm
Saturdays: 12-1pm
Instructor: Gaitrie Subryan
Rooted in the fundamentals of Kathak, an Indian classical dance form from North India, students dive deep and learn the guru shloka and namaskar, who start this dance form by honoring the space we move in. We will work on building strength through footwork (tat-kar), hashtaks (hand gestures), and Chakkars (turns). We will fine-tune Kathak movement exercises through our practice while leaning into the grace and beauty of this dance form.
We will work through Kathak compositions, kavitas (poems), and a short choreography at the end of the series.
This class is open to ages 13+

Beginner/Intermediate
Bhangra Dance

Get ready to groove to the high-energy beats of Bhangra! This lively and exhilarating dance class will introduce you to the traditional Punjabi folk dance known for its vibrant music and dynamic movements. Suitable for all levels, our Bhangra class will teach you essential footwork, powerful arm movements, and exciting choreography that will leave you feeling energized and joyful.

Bollywood & Folk Dance

Immerse yourself in the vibrant and energetic world of Indian Folk Dance! This class introduces you to the rich cultural traditions of India through various folk dance styles, including Garba, Bhangra, and Giddha.
Suitable for all skill levels, you’ll learn lively choreography, rhythmic footwork, and expressive movements that celebrate community and tradition.

Hatha Flow: Beginner Friendly Yoga
Saturdays: 9am-10am
Instructor: Megan McClain Kwacz
This yoga practice combines slow, long-holding poses with vinyasa flow, attending to all parts of our psyche: body, heart, mind, and spirit. It will emphasize alignment and building strength, incorporating breath practice into each class. Meditation and philosophy are integral elements, and classes often revolve around specific themes.
